How to Take a Therapeutic Bath: Guest Post

There are all sorts of reasons that people take baths instead of showers. Some people just like getting submerged in the water. Some may lack the time it takes to take a bath, versus the time it takes to jump in and out of the shower.

But in our culture, it’s not enough to like a bath just for the bath’s sake. It must DO something too, right? With that in mind, it’s time to boost the do-able aspect of your bathing time with some wellness additions that give more power to the water.

For example, let’s talk about time: Some research shows that a long bath taken before exercise may help to reduce muscle damage. And a long bath before bedtime may help you get a bit more sleep, too. So how else can you make your bath work harder? This graphic gives you some ideas.
