Each year I choose some products that I want to use up throughout the year. This time it’s 18 in 2018. I love or like all these makeup and skin care items, but some I’ve had for a while and I need to use them before they expire. Some I am loving and using every day anyway so might as well keep the momentum going. See my 18 and my reviews. What do you think I’ll finish up first and which do you think will still be hanging on in December?
I think the Pore Minizing Photo Finish Primer from Smashbox is great and works with all my foundations. Happy to use this on a daily basis and suggest you pick it up if you have larger pores.
This is Rockateur Blush from Benefit Cosmetics. It’s the size that came in a value set so I’ve depotted it from the set. It has some hard spots throughout so it’s time I use it up. I will probably repurchase the a full or mini size once it’s gone because it works with every makeup look.
I’ve had this Eve Pearl Flawless Face palette for quite awhile and would like to hit pan on both blushes (top) and one of the eye shadows. If I can do that then I’ll feel I got my monies worth. This is a great travel palette as well.
I am loving this Advanced Cell Renewal Night Creme with Waterless Technology from Pur Attitude. I will be using this entire jar. Good hydration for winter and I like the method of dispensing the creme by pushing the white part down and it sits in the well. Just scoop it up with your fingers and apply. This saves the product from getting contaminated from dipping into the jar each night. Advanced Cell Renewal Night Crème is available in 1 fl oz at a retail price of $59 US at http://www.purattitude.com
This is approximately a six-week supply, when used once daily.
I cannot stop using the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation so before I get bored I hope I can use it up. The colour is perfect for me, love the finish. Best applied with a damp beauty sponge.
These Nars Pencils were the Sephora Birthday gift a couple years ago. I love them both and want to use them up before they expire. Cruella (the red) is a Velvet Matte and Rikugien (the pink) is a Satin Lip Pencil.
I’ve only ever used up one bronzer before so I’m hoping to get through this Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil this year. I think this is a great colour for fair and light skin tones.
Juice Beauty has been so generous with sending me PR sample products. This Stem Cellular Revitalizing Micro-Exfoliate is one of my favourites and because this is a more natural type item I want to use it up quickly. It smells like Pledge in a good way! My skin feels so soft after each use. I want to use this once a week at least.
My go to eye cream is still Mary Kay Cosmetics TimeWise Firming Eye Cream. I figure I only have a month’s left in here so will be opening another one or testing out something new if I get an eye cream in PR.
This Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint was part of the 2017 Sephora Birthday gift and I really like how this look with cool toned makeup looks. It’s called Birthday Suit.
I have been lucky enough to be chosen for the Elle Magazine Beauty Grand Prix as a product judge and that’s how I got this City Protect Incellium Spray from Institut Esthederm. I know I don’t like the aerosol type sprayer, I prefer a pump spray but I think it does an OK job at setting my makeup.
Last year I used up Benefit High Beam liquid highlight so this year I’d like to continue with their Watt’s Up stick highlight. I always apply a powder highlighter overtop to extend the longevity. Also tried this twice as an eye primer, but it made my lids itchy by the end of day two so I don’t recommend using it anywhere near your eyes.
Eve Pearl Dual Concealer – I use the darker shade as an undereye corrector and the lighter for the rest of my concealing needs. I have hit pan on both sides already nut because it moves around so much it keeps getting covered up. I use a concealer brush to apply and then blend with a makeup sponge.
While I like the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water, I don’t use it very much. Mostly I use it if I get upstairs and realize I forgot to wash off all my makeup at bedtime or when I’m doing my makeup and have to wipe off a mistake or some swatches. I don’t want it just sitting around so I want to make an effort to use it up.
Mary Kay’s White Lily mineral eye shadow has been discontinued and I’ve got alot of use out of mine already but I want to use it up. I’m finding it more powdery than I remember so I’m hoping it’ll go faster.
