Many bloggers and YouTubers have challenged themselves to pan (use up) an entire cosmetics palette this year. In 2014, Amber F panned her Naked Palette from Urban Decay and is now working on the Lorac Pro Palette. You can visit her YouTube Channel by clicking here.
I don’t own either of those palettes and want to be unique, so I chose an all cream collection that I purchased in November at IMATS (International Makeup Artist Trade Show) in Toronto. With the progress I’ve been making on my Eve Pearl Flawless Face Palette, I thought I’d better do an update.
Either I am using this more than I thought I would or like a fuller coverage when it comes to foundation and concealer, but those 4 pans are going fast! The picture isn’t great but I’ve hit pan on both foundations and concealers. I’ve started using the yellow eye primer on a daily basis and setting it with a powder before applying the rest of my eye shadows. After I finish my current highlighter I will start using this highlighter every day, along with the cream blush. I think this colour will be perfect to transition from winter to spring makeup looks.
From left to right: This palette includes two tones of cream foundation that I apply with the Mary Kay Foundation Brush and then blend with a dampened Eve Pearl ProBlender Applicator. I use the deeper shade on the perimeter of my face and to contour my cheeks then apply the lighter shade in the center of my face. The yellow cream to powder product is called a mattifier which I use with my fingertips as an eye shadow primer. To the right is the pink toned Illuminator that I also use with my fingertips to highlight cheekbones, cupid’s bow, and brow bones. The bottom row has two tones of salmon concealer that hides dark circles, bruises, tattoos (not that I have any) and blemishes. I apply this with my fingertips, but blend out with the tip of the ProBlender Applicator. The last item is a cream blush. I really love this colour as you can wear it with pretty much any eye or lip shades. I also apply this with fingertips and top with a powder blush for a stay-all-day finish.
I give this palette from Eve Pearl a BEE shopping recommendation and will be repurchasing it along with a full size of the HD Dual Foundation in Light at the upcoming Toronto IMATS in September. You can purchase Eve Pearl products in Canada from The Shopping Channel or direct from the company in the US, but the deals at IMATS are so fantastic that I’m opting to wait.
Keep watching for my next update post and leave me a comment below. What palette are you using right now?
