Product Empties – August 2014

A few items I’ve used up and my opinions on each.  Find out if I would repurchase or not.

The Mary Kay Satin Hands fragrance free satin smoothie hand scrub I had in my consultant kit and the pump broke ages ago.  I decided to put it in my shower and use it as an all over body scrub, but I just didn’t Positive Buzzreach for it on a regular basis.  I have finally used it up because I put it in my TAG!  Finish By Fall post .  It works great for exfoliating, but I prefer scented body care products.  I have a couple more in my inventory, but will probably limit their use to when I do a pedicure or Satin hands treatment.

This past week I’ve been dealing with an eye infection.  The morning I woke up with my eye crusted shut Positive BuzzI knew there were some items that would have to go, due to potential contamination.  Besides my contact lenses and case, both my current mascaras are being retired early.  Lancome Grandiose Mascara I’ve barely had time to use, but you can read my thoughts in the What I Keep Reaching Positive BuzzFor post.  Due to the price, and the fact that I have two Mary Kay mascaras in my inventory, I won’t be repurchasing the Grandiose right now, but I would in the future.  My Cover Girl LashBlast Volume also has to go and for a drugstore mascara, I was enjoying it’s volumizing effect.  Click Bee Shoppinghere for my thoughts.  If it was on sale and I had a coupon, I would purchase this again.

Buzz Off BeeMary Kay Mineral Bronzing Powder in Bronze Diva (discoutinued) was a recent item I opened to test out as a contour and found it waaaaaay too dark for my complexion.  Luckily with the 100% customer satisfaction guarantee, I can return it to Mary Kay in exchange for another product of equal value.  This bronzer has now been replaced by updated formula and shades.

Bee Shoppinge.l.f. Lip Balm SPF 15 in Nude for run over in the driveway and I have already ordered a replacement ( and several other e.l.f. products) during the current 40% off sale plus discounted shipping only on September Positive Buzz1st.  Click here to shop e.l.f.

I blogged about the Mary Kay CC Cream Complexion Corrector Cream SPF 15 in Very Light awhile ago and am still loving it.  I have already opened another tube and have a backup in my inventory.  The SPF has kept my face from sun burns, it gives the redness in my cheeks a colour correction for part of the day, andPositive Buzz all in all I recommend everyone try it out. It’s not full coverage, more of a light to medium, so I can still see my freckles.
