Couponing at Shopper’s Drug Mart Today

I am really starting to enjoy shopping at Shopper’s Drug Mart when I’m in the city.  I’m also racking up the Optimum Points too, which is fun.  Here’s my deals for today.

Jane’s Chicken Nuggets $5.99 sale less$1 coupon

U by Kotex Pads $3.99 sale less $3 when you buy 2

U by Kotex Tampons $3.99 less $3 when you buy 2 -passed on an extra coupon I had to a girl who was buying this brand.  She’s was very appreciative for the deal.

Irish Spring Body Wash $2.99 sale less $2 so I bought 2 different kinds for John to try

L’Oreal Expressions Hair Repair $5.99 sale less $2 coupon

Motrin $6.99 sale less $5 printable coupon so I bought 2.

NyQuil Syrup $5 sale less $2 coupon

L’Oreal Hair Mask $5.99 sale less $2 coupon

SoftLips Balm $2 less $2 printable coupon so I bought 2 (FREE)

I also bought bread, water, and granola bars were 2 for $4.00, and Chef Boy R Dee microwavable for 99 cents.

In total I used $27 in coupons and because I spent over $50 the cashier also gave me a $10 gift card for a future purchase SCORE!!!  I wasn’t even paying attention to whether or not I was close to the $50.  I also have enough points to get $10 free.

Remember to check the flyer and then see what coupons you have or can print off the internet.  This is how we get such good deals or FREE items.

I have to go back to St. Thomas tomorrow so I may print off a couple more Soft Lips coupons and add to my stash for Easter presents for my neices.

  1. Did you know that if you purchase a SDM gift card, you get SDM points for it. and then when you do your shopping, you get points on the items you purchase. Its like getting twice as many points each time you shop. You just have to make sure you purchase the card in a separate transaction from your regular purchase.
I buy cards to keep in my wallet in case I run out of milk, or to drop into a friends birthday card, or to purchase a few extra things when I want to get to their spending level but might be short of money that week. (buy the cards when you have extra cash, spend them when you are running short!!!)
