You Can Get Alot Done During Commercials

I have to admit that I LOVE watching TV. Soap Operas (All My Children, One Life to Live), Talk Shows (Dr. Phil, Oprah), News, Sitcoms, History shows, music videos, etc.

This could impact negatively on crossing things off my “to do” list, but I have finally realized that I can get alot done during commercial breaks. It gives a break between housework and it’s kind of fun to see if you can accomplish your task and get back to the couch before the commercials are over. Here are some quick ideas.

Throw in a load of laundry.
Fold laundry (this can be done during the actual TV show as well).
Put laundry away.
Make a phone call to book doctor, dentist, car repair, or any appointments.
Clean the toilet, sink, bathtub (do 1 at each break).
Sweep, mop, or vacuum the floor of one room.
Collect the garbage.
Clean some windows.

Make a phone call for bookings, reorders, recruiting (during an hour program you can probably make 5 phone calls).
Put together hostess or recruiting packets.
Send an email.
Repack your briefcase, inventory or party kit.

Leave me a comment with other ideas for things that can be done during commercials.
